Medik8’s Advanced Day Ultimate Protect with Photolayse SPF50+ PA++++ is an age defying, daily facial moisturiser incorporating an SPF50 Plus to combine sun protection with hydration.

The formula is intensely hydrating yet lightweight and non greasy making it perfect for daily use alone or underneath makeup.

The highest level of sunscreen helps to protect against premature ageing, fine lines and wrinkles caused by sun damage. It creates an invisible shield on the face which also protects against blue light, infrared light, pollution, environmental aggressors and glycation.

The advanced formula contains an encapsulated photolayse which is actually a light activated DNA repair enzyme and helps skin to recover after being exposed to UV light.

Contains Squalane (a more stable and less reactive version of Squalene) which mimics the skins natural oils and helps to soothe, moisturise, nourish and impart suppleness. Squalane also helps to enhance the penetration abilities of other ingredients in the moisturiser.

Hyaluronic Acid helps to draw and lock in moisture to the epidermis for a hydrated complexion.

Brand History:

Medik8 is a British, family run business whose founder Elliot Issac is a bio chemist. His sister suffered with Rosacea and he started off on a mission to find ingredients to help treat it and ended up exploring core anti ageing ingredients. The science based brand houses a state of the art, on site lab ISO certified manufacturing facility.
